Departure to Jaipur by air. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Begin with the magnificent Amber Fort β a hilltop fortress of pale yellow and pink sandstone overlooking Maota Lake, one of Rajasthan's most iconic sights. After lunch visit the Jantar Mantar β a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the world's largest stone astronomical instruments. In the evening, visit the pristine white Birla Temple and optionally dine at Chokhi Dani, an authentic ethnic village resort that recreates traditional Rajasthani culture with folk music, dance, and cuisine.
After breakfast, explore more of the Pink City. Begin at the royal City Palace β a stunning blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture still partly inhabited by the royal family of Jaipur. Walk the busy lanes to the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) β its five-storey faΓ§ade of 953 latticed windows is one of the most photographed buildings in India. After lunch, visit the panoramic Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort overlooking the city, and the peaceful Kanak Vrindavan Garden. Evening free for shopping in Jaipur's famous bazaars β gems, blue pottery, block-printed fabrics, and silverwork.
After breakfast, drive to Ajmer (155 km). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After lunch, visit the sacred Pushkar Lake β one of the five sacred Dhams in Hinduism β and the ancient Brahma Mandir, one of the very few temples in India dedicated to Lord Brahma. Proceed to Ajmer to visit the revered Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Dargah β a Sufi shrine that draws pilgrims of all faiths from across the world β and the Digambar Jain Temple, if time permits. Return to the hotel for the night.
After an early breakfast, drive towards Udaipur, stopping for a full visit to Chittorgarh β the largest fort complex in India and a symbol of Rajput honour and sacrifice. Explore the legendary Padmini Palace, where Queen Padmini's beauty is said to have sparked a war; the Ranakumbha Palace; the soaring Vijay Stambha (Tower of Victory) and Kirti Stambha (Tower of Fame). Evening arrival in Udaipur. Transfer to hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive via Haldi Ghati β the historic battlefield where Maharana Pratap fought the Mughals in 1576 β and continue to the sacred Nathdwara Mandir (175 km), one of the most important Vaishnava temples in India, known for its remarkable Shrinathji idol. Return to Udaipur in the evening. The night's highlight: the spectacular Light and Sound Show at Udaipur City Palace β a theatrical retelling of Mewar's 1,400-year royal history against the backdrop of the illuminated palace.
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Udaipur's finest landmarks in depth. Tour the grand City Palace β a stunning complex of courtyards, pavilions, and lake-facing terraces built by successive Maharanas over 400 years. Enjoy the view over Lake Pichola and the floating Lake Palace Hotel. Visit the ornate Jagdish Mandir (17th-century Indo-Aryan temple), the Rana Pratap Memorial at Moti Magari, the romantic Saheliyon ki Badi (Garden of Maids of Honour) with its fountains and black marble elephant statues, and the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal β a folk art museum celebrating Rajasthani traditions.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the railway station or airport for your onward journey home. You leave carrying the grandeur of Rajasthan β the gold of Amber Fort at sunrise, the shimmer of Lake Pichola at dusk, and the echoes of a thousand years of Rajput spirit.
